VoltShare has made history by becoming the first Pakistani startup to be selected for Plug and Play China’s Cross-Border Program, marking a landmark achievement for Pakistan’s tech ecosystem. The inclusion places VoltShare within one of the most competitive electric vehicle (EV) and clean mobility ecosystems in the world, underscoring the startup’s international relevance in sustainable transport and infrastructure.
Plug and Play China is part of the world’s largest startup accelerator network and supports international startups in scaling across Asia through localization, partnerships, and corporate engagement. By joining this program, VoltShare will gain access to Chinese and Asia-Pacific markets, benefiting from direct connections with leading corporates, investors, and industry leaders in mobility, energy, and sustainability.
This milestone is also a reflection of Pakistan’s national innovation framework, led by MoITT and Ignite. Under this mandate, NIC Lahore has emerged as a key player in equipping local startups with the mentorship, infrastructure, and global exposure needed to compete internationally.
