For the very first time in Sialkot, Shell Tameer is coming to National Incubation Center Sialkot to connect, collaborate, and empower the city’s next big visionaries as part of the broader Wafi Tameer Awards 2026 Roadshow. The visit follows similar roadshow stops the 13th edition of the Tameer Awards has made across the country this month, including sessions at IBA CEDIR in Karachi, BIC University of Peshawar, and National Incubation Center Peshawar, extending that coordinated national outreach into Sialkot for the first time in the competition’s history.
The roadshow specifically targets startup founders and entrepreneurs, along with those holding an innovative idea or a prototype-ready final year project, giving both established founders and students at an earlier concept stage a reason to attend. Framing eligibility this broadly reflects the competition’s own history of drawing several hundred submissions annually from across Pakistan, with last year’s 12th edition seeing 487 submissions narrowed down to 30 finalists competing across six categories, evaluated by a jury drawn from Wafi, Unilever, Philip Morris, K-Electric, and several of Pakistan’s established incubation centers.
The session covers learning how to apply for the award, connecting with industry experts, exploring opportunities for a startup’s specific idea, and discovering the recognition and exposure opportunities the competition can offer beyond the prize money itself. For Sialkot founders specifically, many of whom operate within the city’s dense manufacturing and export ecosystem, direct exposure to a jury and support network built around Wafi’s corporate sponsors and established incubation partners offers a route toward institutional visibility that extends well past the city’s own local business networks.
The roadshow is scheduled for Monday, 21 September 2026, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at NIC Sialkot, with interested attendees able to scan a QR code to register for the event. Sialkot’s roadshow adds to the growing multi-city information session campaign accompanying this year’s Tameer Awards, whose application deadline has already been extended once to 4 October 2026, and continues to be supported by Mobilink Bank and CyberVision International alongside Ignite National Technology Fund and Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication.
