WISE Lab Opens Free Four Week Bootcamp For Women Entrepreneurs In Bahawalpur And Sukkur

Published on

WISE Lab has opened applications for its Micro-Entrepreneurship Program in Bahawalpur and Sukkur, offering women who already run their own businesses a free of cost four week bootcamp. The program is aimed at women entrepreneurs who operate small ventures, including those run from home, and its message to them is that a business started in a living room can still reach much further. Participants will build practical skills for the business they already have, and the program is open to women in both cities who want to take the next step with what they have built so far.

The bootcamp covers the everyday skills that determine whether a small business can grow. Trainees will learn how to manage costs and plan ahead, which helps owners understand where their money goes and how to prepare for the months to come. They will also learn to reach customers through their phones, using digital marketing tools that many women can access without a shop or a large budget, and to present their businesses with confidence through pitching practice. In Sukkur, the announcement describes the training as practical skills in business planning, financial management, digital marketing, and pitching, a list that applies equally to the Bahawalpur cohort.

Beyond training, the program offers a financial incentive for those who perform well. Top performing trainees may gain access to 500,000 Pakistani rupees in loans and grants, which gives the strongest participants a route to fund the improvements they plan during the bootcamp. For women running home based businesses, access to capital is often the main obstacle, since formal lenders are hard to reach and informal savings rarely stretch far enough to buy stock, equipment, or advertising. Linking training to funding in this way means the skills learned over four weeks can be put to work straight away instead of remaining plans on paper.

The Micro-Entrepreneurship Program is funded by Ignite National Technology Fund, which operates under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication. Choosing Bahawalpur and Sukkur places the training outside the largest metropolitan centers, in cities where women entrepreneurs have fewer chances to join structured programs and often rely on informal networks to learn. Interested women can apply by scanning the QR code shown on the announcement, and the organizers have urged them to make time for their business’s next step. For women who have kept a household enterprise going on their own, the bootcamp offers a free, structured chance to learn from experts, plan with greater confidence, and compete for funding that could help the business grow.
