Women in AI Pakistan will bring more than 50 women and eight industry leaders into one room in Islamabad on Tuesday, 13 October 2026, for a gathering aimed at women working in artificial intelligence, data and technology. The event will run from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the National Incubation Center for Aerospace Technologies, located within the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park, and it is built around the exchange of experiences, meaningful connections and a closer look at the future of AI. The session is open to women only and is by invitation, with limited seats. The organisers say only a few places remain, and interested women can reserve a slot through the registration link before registrations close.
The programme is centred on two panel discussions. The first, titled Women in AI: Future of Work, Skills and Challenges, will look at how artificial intelligence is changing jobs, which skills women need to stay ahead and what obstacles they still face in the field. The second, titled Advancing Gender Equity and Inclusion in AI Workplaces, will focus on what organisations can do to make their teams fairer and more inclusive. Both topics are timely, as companies in Pakistan expand their use of AI while women remain a small share of the technology workforce, and the discussion is expected to bring practical views from professionals who work in the field every day.
The speakers include Darakhshan Nazir, Aysha Shujaat, Zainab Yousuf, Momina Moetesum, Dr Shagufta Jabeen, Anum Abdul Salam, Joddat Fatima and Sara Abbasi. The panels will be followed by networking and high tea, giving attendees time to meet the speakers and one another in a smaller setting. For women in Islamabad’s technology scene, where professionals are often spread across companies, universities and startups, an afternoon of this kind offers a chance to find mentors, collaborators and peers who share similar questions about careers and growth in AI.
The venue adds to the occasion. National Incubation Center for Aerospace Technologies is Pakistan’s aerospace and deep technology incubator, run jointly by Ignite National Technology Fund under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication and National Aerospace Science and Technology Park. Hosting a women-focused AI gathering there places the conversation inside an environment where startups and researchers are already building technology products. Women in AI Pakistan has invited professionals who have been thinking about joining to register soon, as the limited seats are filling up.
