Zindigi Prize KPK Regionals a Hit

Zindigi Prize has once again showcased its impact with the successful conclusion of its KPK Regionals. Co-hosted by the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI), the Directorate General of Science and Technology, and The Catalyst, the event attracted a vibrant array of young innovators.   

Over three days, participants from across the KPK region showcased their groundbreaking ideas through engaging workshops, inspiring talks, and a dynamic Speed Dating session. The grand finale featured 85 shortlisted startups, vying for the coveted Zindigi Prize.

Cosmosys, from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST), emerged as the regional champion, impressing the judges with their innovative concept. Visuar Solutions from Air University and Tahr-un-Nisa from Fatima Jinnah Women University secured the runner-up positions.

Adeel Hijazi, Chief Marketing Officer at Zindigi, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, emphasizing the platform’s role in empowering young entrepreneurs and contributing to society.

Pro Rector Sardar Amin Ullah of GIK Institute expressed pride in hosting the Zindigi Prize, highlighting the synergy between academia and industry. He emphasized the competition’s impact on fostering innovation and driving societal progress.

Sajid Shah, Director General of the Directorate of Science and Technology, KPK, highlighted the Zindigi Prize’s pivotal role in shaping the region’s startup landscape. He expressed the government’s commitment to supporting the initiative and funding the commercialization of promising startups.

With its continued focus on innovation and empowerment, the Zindigi Prize remains a driving force behind Pakistan’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, paving the way for a brighter future.
