3M Expands Expanded Beam Optical Interconnect Production to Support AI Data Center Growth

3M is expanding production of its Expanded Beam Optical (EBO) interconnect technology as global demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure continues to accelerate. The move reflects growing pressure on digital infrastructure, particularly large-scale data centers that support machine learning systems, generative AI models, and other high-performance computing workloads.
