Telenor Pakistan Launches Mentor Network to Empower Tech Startups

Telenor Pakistan has unveiled its “Startup Mentors’ Network” initiative to bolster the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. This program builds upon the success of Telenor Velocity, their corporate accelerator program.

The Startup Mentors’ Network features 31 seasoned professionals from Telenor Pakistan, each with deep expertise in communications, marketing, finance, strategy, and business models.  These mentors will collaborate with startups across various incubators and accelerators nationwide.

The network aims to provide tailored guidance and strategic support to emerging ventures. This support will include refining business concepts, developing robust strategies, optimizing pricing models, and enhancing market positioning. Startups will benefit from the mentors’ extensive industry knowledge and network, gaining valuable insights to accelerate their growth.

This initiative builds on the success of Telenor Velocity, which has supported eight cohorts of startups across various sectors like Edtech, Healthtech, Fintech, IoT, and Agritech. These startups have collectively attracted a significant $65 million in investments. The Startup Mentors’ Network further emphasizes Telenor Pakistan’s dedication to fostering innovation and accelerating the growth of Pakistan’s startup landscape.

This news signifies a positive development for Pakistan’s tech startup scene. With access to experienced mentors and valuable industry knowledge, these young companies are positioned for stronger growth and success.
