NIC Hyderabad and TIME Institute Partner to Strengthen Pakistan’s Startup Ecosystem

Published on

National Incubation Center (NIC) Hyderabad has entered into a strategic partnership with TIME – The Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership development in Pakistan. This collaboration reflects NIC Hyderabad’s commitment to building a robust entrepreneurial pipeline that can redefine the future of the country’s startup ecosystem.

NIC Hyderabad, established under the Ministry of IT and Telecom, powered by Ignite – National Technology Fund and managed by LMKT and PTCL, continues to serve as a platform where emerging founders receive structured mentorship, access to investors, and industry linkages. By joining hands with TIME Institute, the center expands its reach to engage a wider pool of young innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs, creating opportunities for them to transform ideas into sustainable ventures.

The partnership is designed to go beyond connecting institutions — it aims to empower individuals by combining the incubation expertise of NIC Hyderabad with the academic and managerial strength of TIME Institute. Together, the organizations will create programs, workshops, and collaborative initiatives that not only equip participants with practical business skills but also instill an entrepreneurial mindset aligned with the evolving demands of Pakistan’s economy.

Through this alliance, students and early-stage founders will gain access to resources, mentorship, and training that emphasize both innovation and execution. The focus will be on building ventures capable of scaling and contributing to job creation, economic development, and technology adoption. By integrating academic insights with real-world incubation support, the collaboration ensures that young entrepreneurs can develop viable business models, attract investment, and position themselves competitively in the market.

NIC Hyderabad has consistently championed partnerships that add value to the startup ecosystem. With this new MoU, the center reinforces its role as a facilitator of meaningful connections between academia, industry, and early-stage founders. TIME Institute, with its emphasis on management education and entrepreneurial leadership, complements this mission by nurturing students who are ready to take their concepts beyond classrooms and into real-world business environments.

Speaking on the occasion, representatives from NIC Hyderabad highlighted that innovation-driven ecosystems require cooperation between institutions committed to supporting entrepreneurship. They noted that this collaboration would help create an environment where talent is identified, nurtured, and connected to opportunities on both national and global levels.

The initiative also aligns with Pakistan’s broader goals of strengthening its startup sector through coordinated efforts by public and private stakeholders. By integrating incubation programs with entrepreneurship-focused education, the partnership will contribute to building a generation of founders prepared to lead with purpose, resilience, and innovation.

With the signing of this MoU, NIC Hyderabad and TIME Institute have taken an important step toward developing a strong pipeline of entrepreneurs, innovators, and leaders who will shape the country’s digital economy and help position Pakistan as a growing hub for technology and business innovation.
