National Incubation Center Faisalabad startup Yumkins showcased its venture at LEAP 2026, taking Pakistani innovation to an international platform in Riyadh. Yumkins, operated under Ootien Private Limited, is a women-led venture focused on creating wholesome food products with a specific emphasis on nutritious baby food, a category that intersects consumer packaged goods with genuine public health relevance given how directly early childhood nutrition affects long-term development outcomes.
The company’s presence at LEAP follows its recent recognition at PIXS 2026, where organizers highlighted Yumkins specifically as an example of how innovation can strengthen traditional food sectors while opening pathways to global markets, describing the venture’s potential to translate into export-ready outcomes. That framing positions Yumkins not simply as a domestic baby food brand but as a company organizers see as having a genuine shot at competing beyond Pakistan’s borders, a distinction that matters for a sector where food safety standards and consumer trust requirements can vary considerably between the domestic and export markets a company might eventually target.
Yumkins has also been connected to Women in Tech Pakistan, an accelerator programme that has positioned itself as a platform where ideas get challenged, refined, and pushed toward the next level rather than simply celebrated, suggesting the venture has already been through at least one round of structured, critical business development support prior to its LEAP appearance. That accelerator involvement, combined with the PIXS 2026 recognition, gives Yumkins’ international showcase a foundation built on prior validation rather than treating LEAP as the company’s first significant test in front of an external audience.
NIC Faisalabad framed the LEAP 2026 showcase as another step forward in its broader effort to help incubated startups grow, connect, and go global, extending the same institutional narrative the center has built around other startups it has sent to international platforms this year. The showcase adds Yumkins to NIC Faisalabad’s growing list of ventures gaining international exposure, continuing to be supported by Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication and Ignite National Technology Fund as the center works to position its Agri-Tech and Tex-Tech focused portfolio companies for opportunities well beyond Pakistan’s domestic market.
