P@SHA and HUB47 Partner to Promote Pakistani Startups and IT Firms in the UAE

Published on

Pakistan IT Industry Association (P@SHA) has entered into a strategic partnership with HUB47 to promote Pakistan-based startups and IT firms across the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) represents a significant milestone in expanding Pakistan’s technology footprint and strengthening international business linkages for the country’s digital economy.

The collaboration aims to enhance visibility for Pakistani innovation in the UAE market, one of the Middle East’s fastest-growing hubs for technology and investment. Through this partnership, P@SHA and HUB47 will jointly facilitate market access, business development, and networking opportunities for Pakistani companies seeking regional expansion.

Chairman Sajjad Syed, along with Muhammad Umair Nizam, Mohammad Munaf Majeed, Sheikh Abdul Qadir, Ali Hasani, and members of P@SHA’s Central Executive Committee (CEC), played a central role in bringing this initiative to life. Their coordinated efforts reflect the broader national strategy of promoting Pakistan’s IT sector as a high-potential contributor to exports and employment.

The partnership also received institutional backing from Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), Tech Destination Pakistan, the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication (MoITT), and the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), all of which have been instrumental in aligning policy and infrastructure to support global outreach for local tech companies.

According to P@SHA, the collaboration will enable startups and IT service providers from Pakistan to connect with venture investors, accelerators, and clients in the UAE. HUB47, a growing innovation and business facilitation platform, will act as a bridge between the two ecosystems—helping Pakistani firms explore new verticals and partnership avenues in fintech, software services, healthtech, and emerging technologies.

For Pakistan’s IT industry, this development comes at a time of growing regional demand for software exports and digital transformation services. The UAE, with its favorable investment climate and global connectivity, offers an attractive market for Pakistani tech firms to establish a presence, form B2B partnerships, and participate in joint innovation projects.

P@SHA continues to play a leading role in advocating for and representing the IT industry both domestically and abroad. By engaging with regional players like HUB47, it aims to strengthen Pakistan’s position as a trusted source of digital talent and solutions.

The MoU aligns with Pakistan’s broader ambition to elevate its IT exports to over $5 billion in the coming years through targeted global collaborations, skill development, and digital infrastructure enhancement.

This partnership further reinforces the message that Pakistan’s technology ecosystem is ready to engage and compete at a global scale, driven by talent, innovation, and a commitment to sustainable growth. With institutional collaboration, regional partnerships, and strong government backing, Pakistan’s IT sector is positioned to make a meaningful impact in international markets.
