NIC Islamabad Partners with Odoo to Enable Digital Transformation and Market Expansion for Startups

Published on

National Incubation Center Islamabad has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Odoo Middle East DWC-LLC, marking a new collaboration aimed at supporting startup development and digital transformation in Pakistan. The agreement was announced on the sidelines of Indus AI Week and reflects efforts to strengthen the country’s technology ecosystem by connecting local founders with global digital infrastructure and business tools.

The partnership is designed to help startups affiliated with NIC Islamabad access structured commercial benefits while improving their operational capabilities and readiness for market expansion. Through the collaboration, startups within the incubation network will gain exposure to digital systems that can support business management, operational integration and scaling strategies as they move beyond early-stage development. The initiative is also expected to introduce new opportunities for ecosystem engagement through joint activities and collaborative programmes.

Both organisations plan to conduct joint marketing initiatives and roadshows as part of the agreement, enabling founders to connect with broader industry networks and explore commercial pathways beyond local markets. These activities are intended to create stronger links between startup founders, technology providers and ecosystem stakeholders while equipping entrepreneurs with tools and resources necessary for scaling their ventures. According to the announcement, the collaboration will also focus on enhancing startup preparedness by helping founders develop the operational systems required for sustainable growth.

NIC Islamabad operates as part of Pakistan’s national incubation framework supported by Ignite National Technology Fund under Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication. The centre provides mentorship, resources and market access to early-stage technology startups across multiple sectors. By partnering with Odoo, a company known for its integrated suite of business management applications, the initiative aims to strengthen the operational backbone of startups while supporting their transition from early experimentation to commercially scalable enterprises.
