NIC Peshawar Hosts Walk-In Interviews as Startups Compete for Cohort 15 Incubation

National Incubation Center Peshawar has started a series of walk-in interviews as part of the selection process for Cohort 15, bringing together aspiring founders and early-stage startups seeking entry into the incubation program. Over the course of four days, entrepreneurs are presenting their ideas, products, and business concepts while competing for a place in the center’s next batch of incubated ventures.

The walk-in interview sessions provide an opportunity for founders to introduce their startup ideas directly to the evaluation team while discussing the potential impact and scalability of their solutions. The initiative allows innovators from different backgrounds to share their concepts, exchange ideas, and participate in conversations focused on technology-driven entrepreneurship. The sessions are designed to create a platform where early-stage founders can demonstrate their vision while also engaging with mentors and ecosystem stakeholders involved in the incubation program.

Participants attending the interviews represent a wide range of innovative concepts and business models aimed at addressing market challenges through technology and creative problem solving. Founders have been pitching ideas spanning multiple industries, reflecting the growing diversity of Pakistan’s emerging startup ecosystem. These interactions also enable evaluators to assess the founders’ ability to translate their concepts into practical solutions while exploring opportunities for product development and market expansion.

NIC Peshawar’s incubation program focuses on supporting startups at the early stages of development by providing mentorship, resources, and access to networks that help founders refine their ideas and develop scalable ventures. Through initiatives such as the Cohort 15 induction process, the incubation center continues to attract entrepreneurs who are eager to contribute to innovation and economic growth through technology-enabled businesses.

The walk-in interview format encourages open dialogue between founders and evaluators, creating an environment where ideas can be discussed in detail while allowing entrepreneurs to explain the motivation behind their startups. Founders also gain exposure to feedback that can help them refine their value propositions, business strategies, and product concepts during the selection process.

NIC Peshawar operates with the support of Ministry of IT and Telecommunication and Ignite – National Technology Fund, both of which play a significant role in strengthening Pakistan’s technology and innovation ecosystem. The incubation center is managed by LMKT and collaborates with several ecosystem partners that contribute to mentoring founders and supporting startup development. These partners include Orbit Startups, Accelerate Prosperity, Sybrid, IMSciences, Rehman Medical Institute, CECOS University, and Frontier Platinum.

The presence of academic institutions, technology organizations, and industry partners within the NIC Peshawar ecosystem reflects a collaborative approach aimed at fostering entrepreneurship in the region. Universities such as IMSciences and CECOS University contribute research and academic perspectives, while industry partners help connect founders with practical insights, operational support, and industry networks.

Throughout the four-day interview period, the center is witnessing discussions around bold ideas and emerging technologies as founders share their vision for future products and services. The initiative highlights the growing interest among entrepreneurs in developing innovative ventures that address both local and global challenges.

By hosting walk-in interviews for Cohort 15, NIC Peshawar continues its efforts to identify promising founders and provide them with a platform where their ideas can evolve into structured startups supported by mentorship, training, and ecosystem collaboration. The selection process reflects the center’s ongoing commitment to nurturing innovation and supporting early-stage entrepreneurs across the region.
