Iqra University’s IU CORE Opens Applications for Call for Ideas Cohort 4

Published on

Iqra University’s Centre of Research & Entrepreneurship (IU CORE) has announced the opening of applications for its Call for Ideas – Cohort 4, inviting aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, and early-stage startups to take part in its incubation program. The initiative is designed to support individuals who are looking to turn innovative ideas into scalable ventures, with registrations currently open through an online form accessible via a shared link and QR code. The program continues to build on IU CORE’s efforts to encourage entrepreneurship within the academic environment by providing a structured entry point for idea-stage founders.

Selected participants will gain access to a comprehensive support system that includes structured mentorship, expert-led training, and dedicated workspace facilities. In addition to these resources, the program offers funding support along with legal and technical assistance, allowing founders to focus on developing and refining their ideas while navigating early operational challenges. The incubation experience is structured to help participants move from concept validation to execution by connecting them with industry knowledge and practical tools required to build sustainable ventures.

A distinguishing aspect of the program is its zero equity model, which enables founders to retain full ownership of their startups while benefiting from the resources and guidance provided by IU CORE. This approach reduces financial barriers for early-stage entrepreneurs and encourages experimentation, particularly for students and recent graduates exploring entrepreneurship for the first time. It also reflects a broader shift within university-led incubation programs that prioritize founder autonomy while still offering strong institutional support to help ideas grow into viable businesses.

Eligibility for the Call for Ideas – Cohort 4 is limited to Iqra University alumni, current students, and affiliated startups, reinforcing the institution’s focus on developing its internal entrepreneurial ecosystem. By concentrating on its own academic community, IU CORE aims to foster stronger collaboration and knowledge exchange among participants with shared backgrounds. Interested applicants can register through the official form, with selected candidates moving forward into the incubation phase where they will work on transforming their ideas into impactful and scalable ventures.
