The Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo is set to host “Go Global: Pakistan–Japan Market Entry and Startup Collaboration” on April 30 in Tokyo, bringing together startups, investors, and technology leaders from both countries. The event is part of ongoing efforts to build stronger technology and startup ties between Pakistan and Japan, with a focus on emerging sectors including Applied Artificial Intelligence, financial technology, software as a service, and Web3.
According to the embassy, the programme will serve as a platform for innovators and industry stakeholders to exchange ideas, explore market entry opportunities, and discuss collaboration within the startup ecosystem. The event is scheduled to take place at Minato Ward Industrial Promotion Centre and is expected to host a mix of startup founders, investors, and technology professionals.
The event will feature startup presentations and discussions led by speakers involved in cross-border technology and innovation initiatives. Organisers say the programme is aimed at building what they describe as a Japan-Pakistan innovation bridge, creating opportunities for startups from both markets to connect and explore business expansion, investment, and technology partnerships.
The initiative reflects growing engagement between Pakistan and Japan in the technology sector, particularly in startup development and digital innovation. As both countries continue to expand their focus on emerging technologies, such events are becoming an important part of broader economic diplomacy efforts aimed at linking startup ecosystems and encouraging international collaboration.
