Business Incubation Center at Bahria University Karachi Campus is set to host Startup Huddle Karachi, Founder Meetup 0.1 on April 30, 2026, bringing together founders, innovators, and aspiring entrepreneurs for what marks the first edition of the Global Entrepreneurship Network’s flagship program to be held at the campus. The event is scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM at the Business Incubation Center premises.
Startup Huddle is a license-based program operated by the Global Entrepreneurship Network, which runs across 200 countries with the aim of making it easier for anyone, anywhere, to start and grow a business. The license for this Karachi chapter is held by Engr. Syed Rizwan Ali, Assistant Professor and Head of the Business Incubation Center at Bahria University Karachi Campus, who also serves as a Regional Coordinator for Global Entrepreneurship Network Pakistan and is a signatory authority for its Memorandum of Understanding. He is among only a handful of individuals in Pakistan to hold an official Startup Huddle license, and only the second individual in the country to do so.
The session will feature Noman Jehangir, Chief Executive Officer of Global CB, EMAP, as guest speaker. Jehangir brings over 22 years of international experience across ISO standards, cybersecurity, and risk management, having conducted more than 1,800 man-days of second and third party audits and delivered over 1,500 hours of training across 18 countries including the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and others. His work spans sectors including finance, telecommunications, aviation, information technology, logistics, oil and gas, and government, with a particular focus on frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 42001, and the General Data Protection Regulation.
The meetup is positioned as a platform for founders to learn from experienced practitioners, connect with peers, and explore cross-border startup opportunities through the Global Entrepreneurship Network’s international community. For Bahria University Karachi Campus, the event represents a tangible step toward embedding its Business Incubation Center within a globally connected entrepreneurship network at a time when Karachi’s startup community is increasingly seeking structured avenues for collaboration and growth.
