SEIC Innovation Fellowship 2026 Extends Deadline for Student Applications in Pakistan

Published on

Applications for the SEIC Innovation Fellowship Program 2026 have officially been extended until May 13, giving students additional time to apply for a six month campus embedded fellowship designed to engage young talent in Pakistan’s startup ecosystem. The program is structured to connect students with real startup environments, allowing them to gain practical exposure while contributing to venture building activities across partner universities.

The fellowship is designed to include twenty selected fellows across more than fifteen partner universities, with a focus on strengthening student participation in entrepreneurship and innovation activities. Participants will be involved in scouting student ventures, supporting campus based innovation initiatives, and working on real startup related projects that provide exposure to early stage business development and ecosystem engagement.

According to program details, the fellowship spans six months and aims to integrate students into Karachi’s growing startup ecosystem through hands on learning experiences. The structure of the program encourages active participation in venture discovery, idea validation, and collaboration with startups, while also providing mentorship and professional exposure within the broader innovation landscape.

The initiative is supported by Hum Network Limited, Sapphire Consulting Services, and the Sindh Information Technology Department, reflecting collaboration between private sector organizations and government stakeholders in promoting entrepreneurship education. The program highlights increasing efforts to build stronger linkages between academic institutions and startup ecosystems in Pakistan, particularly through structured fellowship and incubation style learning opportunities for students.
