PASHA ICT Awards Orientation Session Held at NIC Karachi

Published on

PASHA ICT Awards 2026 is holding a Karachi orientation session, calling all startups and tech companies in the city to attend a live walkthrough of the awards process at NIC Karachi. The session gives applicants a structured opportunity to understand what the awards actually involve before committing time to preparing a formal submission, addressing a common challenge for founders unfamiliar with how established industry award programs evaluate and select their entries.

Scheduled for Friday, July 31, 2026, from 5 to 6:30 in the evening at National Incubation Center Karachi, the session will cover the award categories available to applicants, the eligibility criteria they need to meet, how to apply, and what judges look for when evaluating submissions. This last point carries particular value for first-time applicants, since understanding judging criteria in advance can meaningfully shape how a company frames its submission, focusing on the aspects of its work that are most likely to resonate with evaluators rather than presenting information in a way that may not align with what judges are specifically assessing.

The session is organised through a partnership between the Pakistan IT Industry Association and National Incubation Center Karachi, reflecting the kind of collaboration between industry associations and incubation centres that has become increasingly common as a way of reaching startups directly within their existing ecosystem touchpoints rather than relying solely on broader public outreach. Holding the orientation at NIC Karachi specifically gives the incubator’s resident and affiliated startups convenient access to information about a nationally recognised awards program, potentially increasing participation from companies who might not otherwise have engaged with the P@SHA ICT Awards process.

Interested startups and tech companies can register for the session through https://forms.gle/WwVe5gJFdBCtxrct6 ahead of the July 31 date. The orientation session is supported by Tech Destination Pakistan under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, continuing the pattern of institutional backing behind initiatives that connect Pakistani startups and tech companies with recognition opportunities extending beyond their immediate local market.
