NIC Karachi Hiring for Finance and Admin Executive Position

Published on

NIC Karachi is looking for a Finance and Admin Executive to support its Finance Department by managing accounting operations, ensuring compliance, maintaining financial records, and contributing to the smooth functioning of the incubation ecosystem. Joining LMKT to support the Finance Department at NIC Karachi, the role involves managing accounting records and financial transactions, processing payroll, payments, and journal vouchers, handling tax compliance, invoices, and reconciliations, and maintaining financial records while supporting cross-functional operations across the incubator.

The position requires candidates with 2 to 4 years of finance and accounting experience, alongside knowledge of withholding and sales tax compliance, an area of particular importance given the regulatory obligations any incubation centre operating with government backing and multiple funding partners needs to navigate carefully. Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel is also required, reflecting the practical, day-to-day accounting tools the role will rely on rather than more specialised enterprise financial software.

Beyond technical accounting skills, NIC Karachi is looking for candidates with strong attention to detail and organised documentation practices, alongside excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork abilities. This combination suggests the role extends beyond purely back-office bookkeeping, requiring the successful candidate to work closely with other departments and stakeholders within the incubator’s broader operations rather than functioning in isolation from the rest of the organisation.

The position is based on-site in Karachi on a full-time basis, with applications open until August 16, 2026. Interested candidates can apply through https://lmkt.com/jobs/. The hiring call is supported by Tech Destination Pakistan, the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, Ignite National Technology Fund, LMKT, LuckyOne Mall, and Orbit Ventures, continuing the pattern of institutional backing behind NIC Karachi’s operational hiring, with the incoming Finance and Admin Executive expected to play a central role in supporting the incubator’s financial operations as it continues supporting Karachi’s growing startup community.
