NIC Hyderabad hosted a hands on workshop centred on offline artificial intelligence and agentic AI, giving participants a practical introduction to running language models and building AI agents without depending on an internet connection. The session, conducted using LM Studio, was led by Engineer Bilal and focused on showing attendees how emerging AI capabilities can be deployed locally rather than relying entirely on cloud based services.
Participants in the workshop explored how to run local language models directly on their own devices, build AI agents capable of carrying out specific tasks, and automate workflows using these offline tools. The session also covered practical applications of offline AI for real world use cases, with particular emphasis on the privacy and data control advantages that come with processing information locally rather than sending it to external servers.
