SEIC Holds Cohort 2 Open House Event at SBBU Nawabshah Campus

Sindh Enterprise Incubation Center is holding an open house event for its second cohort on the nineteenth of August, twenty twenty six, running from eleven in the morning until one in the afternoon at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Shaheed Benazirabad in Nawabshah. The event continues under the theme Build What Matters, giving prospective applicants in the Nawabshah region a chance to learn more about SEIC’s incubation programme ahead of Cohort 2 selection.

The open house is designed to give attendees a direct introduction to what SEIC’s incubation programme involves, offering a chance for aspiring entrepreneurs and students at SBBU Nawabshah to connect with the incubator’s team and explore whether their ideas fit the kind of ventures the programme typically supports. Organisers have framed the session around the idea that meaningful projects begin with a first step rather than waiting for an ideal starting point, positioning the open house as an accessible entry point for those still considering whether to apply.

The choice of SBBU Nawabshah as the venue for this session follows a similar open house held earlier in Hyderabad, reflecting SEIC’s continued effort to extend its outreach for Cohort 2 beyond Karachi and into other parts of Sindh. By hosting the event directly on a university campus, SEIC is positioning itself to reach students and young entrepreneurs in Nawabshah who may not otherwise have direct exposure to structured startup incubation support available in the province’s larger cities.

Sindh Enterprise Incubation Center operates under the Science and Information Technology Department of the Government of Sindh, with the Nawabshah session forming part of a broader series of open house events being held across different cities ahead of Cohort 2’s formal selection process. The event is being supported by Sapphire Consulting Services and HUM Network, alongside the Science and Information Technology Department, reflecting the mix of government and private sector backing behind SEIC’s ongoing cohort activities.

Those interested in learning more about the programme or applying for Cohort 2 have been directed to register through the link shared as part of the announcement at www.seic.ac.pk/register, with the Nawabshah open house adding to SEIC’s continued effort to build a geographically diverse pipeline of early stage founders from across Sindh rather than concentrating outreach solely within Karachi and Hyderabad.
