Pakistani Startup ABHI Partners With Saudi NOX Group on Earned Wage Access

Published on

ABHI, Pakistan’s first financial wellness platform and embedded fintech company, has announced a partnership with NOX Group, a Saudi based business group, to provide employees with greater financial flexibility through ABHI’s Earned Wage Access solution. Through the partnership, NOX Group employees will be able to access a portion of their earned salary in real time before their regular payday, giving them greater control over their cash flow and more flexibility in managing their financial needs.

Omair Ansari, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ABHI, said financial wellbeing starts with having greater control over income already earned, adding that the company believes employees should have the flexibility to access their earned wages when needed rather than being restricted by a fixed payday. He described the partnership with NOX Group as reflecting a shared commitment to creating a more supportive employee experience, where financial flexibility becomes an integral part of the workplace.

As Saudi Arabia continues to advance the objectives of Vision 2030, employers are increasingly looking beyond traditional compensation to create more holistic employee experiences, with financial wellbeing becoming an important part of this broader shift. Employers within the kingdom are exploring technology enabled solutions capable of providing employees with greater financial flexibility and support, positioning ABHI’s partnership with NOX Group within this broader regional trend toward more comprehensive employee benefits.

ABHI operates as a financial technology company building infrastructure for greater financial access across emerging markets, with its solutions spanning earned wage access, payroll processing, payroll financing, and SME financing, helping businesses and their employees access greater financial flexibility. Founded in 2021 by Omair Ansari and Ali Ladhubhai, ABHI has expanded its operations across Pakistan, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, partnering with more than seven thousand businesses and serving over one million users across the region.

The partnership with NOX Group adds to a period of significant momentum for ABHI, following an announcement earlier in August that ABHI Bank intends to list on the Pakistan Stock Exchange and raise approximately Rs2 to 3 billion through an Initial Public Offering, a development that came roughly eighteen months after ABHI’s acquisition and turnaround of what had previously been described as a broken bank in February 2025. Together, these developments reflect ABHI’s continued expansion both regionally through partnerships such as this one with NOX Group and domestically through its move toward public listing in Pakistan.
