WISE Lab is calling experienced mentors, coaches, and trainers who can coach the thinking, challenge assumptions, open doors, and turn hard earned lessons into practical guidance for its Cohort 1 programme. The call gives professionals across various fields an opportunity to directly shape the journeys of women founders moving through WISE Lab’s structured incubation programme.
The programme is open to experts whose expertise lies in technology, product, markets, capital, strategy, or leadership, reflecting the breadth of guidance women founders may need as they navigate different aspects of building and scaling their ventures. Organisers framed the call around the idea of bringing lessons no deck can teach, positioning mentor input as complementary to, rather than a replacement for, the more structured curriculum content already built into the programme.
This mentor call follows closely on WISE Lab’s recent announcement opening applications for Cohort 1 itself, which offers selected founders six months of incubation including dedicated one-to-one mentorship, technical and founder focused clinics, investor and corporate linkages, and grant funding of up to PKR 2 million. The parallel timing of the mentor call and founder applications suggests WISE Lab is building out both sides of its incubation programme simultaneously ahead of the cohort’s formal start.
By calling specifically for mentors, coaches, and trainers rather than relying solely on internal staff expertise, WISE Lab is positioning its programme to draw on a broader network of external professionals, potentially giving founders exposure to a wider range of perspectives and industry specific knowledge than a smaller in-house team could provide alone.
The initiative is funded by Ignite National Technology Fund under the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, with support from JazzWorld, Mobilink Bank, and Change Mechanics.
