Bachaa Party, in collaboration with National Incubation Center Hyderabad, is bringing its Grand Bachaapreneur Contest to Hyderabad, inviting young entrepreneurs between the ages of 8 and 14 to showcase either an existing product or an original business idea. The initiative extends a campaign Bachaa Party has run previously in collaboration with National Incubation Center Karachi, National Incubation Center Islamabad, and the LUMS Center for Entrepreneurship, and its arrival in Hyderabad marks a further expansion of a programme that has already drawn hundreds of applications from young entrepreneurs in earlier editions held in other major cities.
The contest is structured around a Product or Idea category, giving children with a tangible offering, whether something they have already begun selling or created, an equal opportunity alongside those with a strong concept they have not yet brought to market. This dual pathway reflects an understanding that entrepreneurial potential in children does not always show up as a finished product, and that an unpolished but genuinely creative idea deserves the same platform as something already generating early sales, particularly at an age where access to capital, production, and distribution remains almost entirely out of a child’s own control.
Bachaa Party has built its identity as one of Pakistan’s largest dedicated children’s retail chains around a broader mission of being, in the company’s own words, the best part of every child’s upbringing, and the Bachaapreneur initiative extends that mission beyond retail into entrepreneurship education specifically. Previous editions of the campaign have culminated in top applicants from each participating city pitching their ideas to a panel of judges for cash prizes, along with the opportunity to have their products displayed at Bachaa Party’s retail stores, giving young entrepreneurs a level of commercial visibility that would otherwise be entirely inaccessible to someone their age.
Parents, relatives, and community members are being encouraged to help identify and register young entrepreneurs from Hyderabad who might benefit from the platform, treating the outreach itself as a community effort rather than something that depends solely on children discovering and applying to the programme independently. Interested families can register through this link to take part in the Hyderabad edition of the contest. The programme’s continued expansion across Pakistan’s major cities, now including Hyderabad through its NIC partnership, suggests Bachaa Party sees youth entrepreneurship education as a long term extension of its brand rather than a one-off promotional campaign tied to a single city or year.
