TiE Islamabad Elevate Entrepreneurship Session Features Mentors From S&P Global

Published on

TiE Islamabad’s Elevate programme held a mentorship session today bringing in professionals from S&P Global to engage with aspiring entrepreneurs through a day of insights, learning and conversations meant to help shape future professionals. The session continues TiE Islamabad’s pattern of pairing its Elevate participants with mentors drawn from established companies, giving entrepreneurs exposure to perspectives shaped by experience inside a large, global organization.

Leading the session was Adeel Mohsin, Senior Software Developer at S&P Global, who brought a technical perspective to the conversation around entrepreneurship, likely speaking to how product and engineering thinking intersects with building and scaling a venture. Joining him was Muhammad Kamran Tariq, a Revenue Execution Specialist at S&P Global, whose background on the revenue side offered participants a complementary view focused on how businesses translate products and services into sustainable income.

Pairing a technical mentor with one focused on revenue execution gave the session a reasonably balanced perspective, touching on both the building and the monetizing sides of running a venture, two areas that early entrepreneurs often need to understand together rather than in isolation. For participants still shaping their own professional or entrepreneurial direction, hearing directly from mentors occupying these different functions within a single large company can offer a clearer picture of how those roles connect in practice.

The Elevate session reflects TiE Islamabad’s ongoing effort to connect aspiring professionals and entrepreneurs with experienced mentors from established companies like S&P Global, continuing a broader pattern of corporate mentorship programmes designed to give early career individuals and founders direct access to real-world expertise they might not otherwise encounter through formal education alone.
