National Incubation Center Lahore has opened applications for Cohort 5, inviting aspiring founders and early stage startups to move from thinking about an idea to actually building it. Every big idea starts somewhere, and what matters is having the right people, guidance and opportunities to help it grow. Selected startups will receive mentorship, funding opportunities, valuable connections and resources to scale, and applications are now live. Interested founders can apply by scanning the QR code on the official poster of National Incubation Center Lahore.
The incubator’s programme is built to take a startup from its first prototype to a company that is ready to grow. It spans 12 months and combines structured mentorship, hands-on business development support, access to industry experts, investor connections and a pathway to commercialization. The programme begins with a dedicated incubation phase in which founders work on their product, team and market, and it is followed by an acceleration phase focused on growth and collaboration. Startups that perform well in the programme can also look towards international acceleration at Plug and Play in Silicon Valley, which offers Lahore-based founders a route to a global network that is difficult to reach from Pakistan on their own.
National Incubation Center Lahore is one of the national incubation centres established by Ignite National Technology Fund under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, a network that now covers major cities across the country. The Lahore centre is supported by NetSol Technologies Limited and Habib Bank Limited, together with Plug and Play Tech Center, Daftarkhwan, Beaconhouse National University and the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore. This combination of technology, banking, coworking and academic institutions gives startups access to a wide set of resources, from workspace and industry mentors to potential customers, financial services guidance and talent from universities.
For founders, the value of a cohort lies as much in the people around them as in the programme itself. Being part of a group of startups at a similar stage creates a peer network that can share leads, solve problems together and open doors to customers and investors. The incubator also hosts investor facing events, including The Deal Room: Lahore on 26 October, which brings founders with traction and investors into one room, and cohort startups are positioned to benefit from such sessions as they grow. For early stage teams in Lahore and across Punjab who have been waiting for a structured way to build with expert support, Cohort 5 offers that opportunity. No closing date has been shared yet, so founders are encouraged to apply early and to follow the official channels of National Incubation Center Lahore for further details on eligibility and timelines.
