Pakistan US Tech Connect 2026 Brings Sixteen Firms To Silicon Valley On 16 October

Published on

The Consulate General of Pakistan in Los Angeles will host Pakistan-US Tech Connect 2026 in Silicon Valley on Friday, 16 October, bringing Pakistan’s leading technology firms into direct contact with the Silicon Valley community. The event will run from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Krutch Theater on the Clark Kerr Campus of the University of California, Berkeley. Senior executives from 16 Pakistani technology firms will address the audience, and the programme also includes a panel discussion and a networking lunch. The event is backed by the Pakistan Software Export Board and Tech Destination Pakistan under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, and attendees can reserve a place through the registration link.

The message of the event is built on a simple fact, that global enterprises already work with Pakistani technology teams. The organisers are asking US companies to bring their technology priorities to the event so that they can be matched with suitable Pakistani firms, which turns the gathering into a working session for buyers instead of a presentation of capabilities alone. The United States is Pakistan’s largest market for information technology and IT-enabled services, accounting for more than half of the country’s tech exports, so a stronger presence on the US West Coast is a natural step for firms that want to move from outsourcing relationships to long term technology work.

The event follows the first Pakistan-US Tech Investment Conference, which the same consulate organised at Stanford University in November 2024. That conference included a delegation of 11 Pakistani startups led by the chief executive of the Pakistan Software Export Board and produced initial commitments of more than 20 million dollars from US-based companies led by Pakistani-American entrepreneurs. The Consulate General has since said that connecting Pakistani firms with industry leaders on the US West Coast is a continuing priority, and that many companies in the region do not yet have a full picture of what Pakistan’s technology sector can offer. The 2026 edition shifts the focus to Pakistani firms meeting potential clients and collaborators.

OPEN Global and OPEN Silicon Valley, the networks of Pakistani-American professionals, are promoting the event among their members, though they have said they have no financial involvement in it and have asked interested attendees to contact the organisers directly for details. The list of the 16 participating firms and the speakers on the panel has not been announced. With the event set for 16 October, executives, investors and professionals in the Bay Area who wish to attend are advised to register in advance through the official link.
