ASPIRE Pakistan Launches My FYP My Startup Program Turning Final Year Projects Into Startups

Published on

ASPIRE Pakistan has launched the My FYP, My Startup Program on its learning management system, giving students structured training and guidance on how to turn their final year project ideas into potential startups. The programme is built around a simple question, what if final year project training and AI-powered startup guidance were just a click away whenever a student needed them. It is self-paced, available at any time and from anywhere, and students can register through the registration link to start learning.

The programme works through a learning platform that includes video lessons, learning resources, assessments and progress tracking. Students who complete the training and pass the assessment unlock a reward called FYP Magic, an AI-powered tool that helps them plan, structure and evaluate their final year project idea. Many students choose a project close to the submission deadline and treat it as a requirement to finish, which leaves little room to ask whether the idea solves a real problem or could grow into a business. By combining training with a tool that helps them test and organise their idea, the programme aims to change how students approach the project from the start.

ASPIRE Pakistan is a nonprofit organisation formed by a network of overseas Pakistani entrepreneurs, angel investors and technology experts, with a vision of a socially and economically prosperous Pakistan through innovation and entrepreneurship. It is incorporated in the United States and runs a range of programmes for students and early stage founders in Pakistan, including Startup Pakistan, an entrepreneurship training programme for university students that it describes as the first step for students to receive help and support from the organisation. In 2025, it reported signing 22 memorandums of understanding with universities and incubation centres across Pakistan, which gives it a direct channel to reach students on campus.

For students who are preparing or about to begin their final year projects, the self-paced format means they can complete the training alongside coursework and at a time that suits them. Those who are interested can register through the link shared by ASPIRE Pakistan, and further information about the organisation and its other programmes is available on its website.
