Lucky Investments Launches Shariah Compliant Capital Protected Fund Plan With Subscription Until 30 October

Lucky Investments Limited has launched Lucky Islamic Capital Protected Fund Plan I, a Shariah-compliant investment plan that aims to give investors competitive returns while protecting their principal through dynamic asset allocation. The plan was launched on 8 October 2026, and its subscription period runs from 9 October to 30 October 2026. It has a tenure of two years and a medium risk profile. The minimum initial investment is Rs 5,000, and further investments can be made from Rs 1,000, which keeps the plan within reach of small investors who want exposure to the equity market without committing a large sum.

The fund works by moving its money between two groups of assets. One is Shariah-compliant listed equities, which give investors a chance to take part in stock market growth, and the other is Shariah-compliant money market and fixed income instruments, which provide stability. The asset manager shifts the balance between the two over the life of the plan, taking more equity exposure when conditions allow and moving towards safer instruments to protect the invested capital. The aim is to let investors share in market gains while keeping the focus on safeguarding their principal over the two years.

Mohammad Shoaib, Chief Executive Officer of Lucky Investments, described the plan as another addition to the company’s growing range of Shariah-compliant products. He said many investors look for growth while staying mindful of protecting their capital, and that the plan uses a disciplined and dynamic asset allocation approach to serve that need. He added that as the product range grows, the company intends to keep offering solutions for different investor goals, risk profiles and time horizons while maintaining high standards of governance and investor trust.

The launch adds to a portfolio of Shariah-compliant mutual funds and pension solutions that already covers money market, income, equity, dividend yield, energy, pension and capital protected categories. Lucky Investments has grown quickly in the Islamic asset management segment, and its Lucky Islamic Money Market Fund drew subscriptions of more than Rs 50 billion at launch, the largest amount raised in a mutual fund offering in Pakistan. Investors who are considering the new plan should read the offering document, which sets out the investment policy, the risks involved and the terms of capital protection before they subscribe.
