The National Incubation Center Islamabad has launched Level Up with NIC, a new series built around the idea that building a startup can feel like a game without a guide. Presented in a playful format that opens with the words press start, the series aims to be that guide. Each episode is designed as a short mission that turns real startup lessons into simple, practical steps. The first installment, Mission 01, is due to be released soon, and the center has invited followers to keep an eye out for it.
The series speaks to three audiences. Founders will learn how to validate ideas, find customers, raise funding and scale with confidence, covering the stages that most young companies must work through in order. Investors will see how strong, evidence backed startups are built from day one, which offers a view of what separates a well prepared venture from one that is not yet ready for capital. Ecosystem enablers, including mentors, institutions and support organizations, will get a shared playbook to guide the founders they support in the right direction. By addressing all three groups in the same format, the series seeks to give everyone involved a common language for talking about startup progress.
The structure follows the path of the center’s own programs. Level 01 is incubation, which provides early stage support, co-working space, dedicated mentorship and premium facilities. Level 02 is acceleration, which offers equity free grants of up to five million Pakistani rupees, rapid scale strategies, global investor networks and market entry support. A bonus tier adds credits for startups, an alumni network, legal and intellectual property advisory and executive coaching. Presenting these stages as levels makes the progression easier to understand, showing founders that they begin with foundational help and move toward larger funding and wider markets as their ventures mature. The fact that the grants carry no equity demand means founders keep full ownership of the companies they build.
The center framed the launch with a message to founders that their ambition deserves the right ecosystem and that their journey starts here. The National Incubation Center Islamabad operates with the backing of the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, Tech Destination Pakistan and Ignite, the National Technology Fund. As the episodes are released, the series is expected to give aspiring founders a clearer view of what each stage of the startup journey involves and how the center’s programs can support them along the way.
