ASPIRE Pakistan Hosts Startup Growth Panel On Customer Acquisition Team Building Negotiation And Fundraising

Published on

ASPIRE Pakistan will host a panel discussion titled Startup Growth: From Acquisition to Pitch on Wednesday, 11 November 2026, at 10:00 PM PKT. The session is built around a point many founders reach sooner or later, when a strong idea is no longer enough and growth depends on winning customers, building the right team, communicating with impact, negotiating well and presenting a vision to people who can help take it further. ASPIRE Pakistan has brought together growth experts, experienced leaders and industry professionals to talk through the people skills, customer strategies and fundraising approaches that can help founders turn early momentum into lasting growth. Interested participants can confirm their availability through the registration link shared by the organizers.

The panel features six speakers. Dr. Azam Arastu is President of AstroSmart Enterprises, and Naeem Zafar, who chairs ASPIRE Pakistan, is a professor at the University of California, Berkeley. Arshad Hussain Hashmi is a project manager at ElSeif Contracting, and Kashi Ahmed is a Director at Salesforce. Sayeeda Ashraf, founder of Shewise and a founding member of ASPIRE Pakistan, is also on the panel, and Farah Mehboob, founder of Valider and Fitraah Global, will moderate. The mix of backgrounds is broad. It includes a sales leader at a large software company, founders, an academic who teaches entrepreneurship and a project management professional, which gives the session a range of viewpoints on how companies grow and how leaders deal with customers, teams and investors.

The discussion is organized around four areas. Customer acquisition channels will cover how a startup attracts its first customers and which routes to market are worth pursuing. Team building will look at how founders bring the right people on board, and negotiation and effective communication will address how to present a vision and reach agreements with customers, partners and hires. The fourth area, fundraising and the final pitch, will deal with making a compelling case to investors. The organizers describe the session as an exploration of the skills and strategies founders need to move their startups forward, from attracting early customers to delivering the pitch itself, and the order of the topics follows the usual path of a young company as it moves from first sales to a funding round.

ASPIRE Pakistan is a non-profit organization that trains university students, mentors local startups and works to connect diaspora investors and professionals with the country’s startup ecosystem. A panel such as this fits that mission, since it places experienced practitioners, some of them based abroad, in front of founders who may not otherwise have access to them. The announcement did not say whether the session is online or in person or whether recordings will be available, and attendees will need to check the registration link for those details. For founders trying to decide whether the evening is worth their time, the agenda is the clearest guide. It covers the four skills that tend to decide whether a startup with early traction keeps growing, and it offers each of them through speakers who have worked on the practical side of building and leading companies.
