Accelerate Prosperity has concluded the Demo Day for its 2026 Business Accelerator programme in Kyrgyzstan, marking the culmination of a 12-week accelerator that brought together 37 companies from across the country and provided them with expert mentorship, structured training modules, and networking opportunities with leading entrepreneurs. The programme is implemented under the Supporting Accelerated Growth of Entrepreneurship Phase II project, supported by the Government of Switzerland and the Aga Khan Foundation, two institutions whose partnership on this initiative reflects a shared commitment to building sustainable entrepreneurial capacity in Central Asia through structured, outcome-oriented support rather than one-off interventions.
Of the 37 companies that participated in the full 12-week programme, 27 presented at a Pre-Demo Day screening, from which 14 were selected to advance to the main Demo Day and pitch their ventures directly to Accelerate Prosperity’s investment committee. The two-stage selection process is designed to give a broader group of participants the experience and feedback of a formal pitch presentation while ensuring that the investment committee’s time and attention is directed toward the ventures that have demonstrated sufficient development and potential to warrant serious consideration. For the 14 companies that reached the Demo Day, the pitch to the investment committee represented the most consequential presentation of the accelerator journey, translating 12 weeks of mentorship, training, and business development work into a case for capital support.
Three companies emerged from the Demo Day with advancement to the next stage of consideration for potential investment support. Aman-Greenfood LLC and Tunuk Products, both operating in the food and agricultural products space, and Kadyrov’s Sandwich, a food service venture, were identified by the investment committee as the strongest candidates for further evaluation. The concentration of food sector ventures among the three advancing companies reflects both the significance of agriculture and food processing to Kyrgyzstan’s economy and the degree to which entrepreneurs in the country are building businesses that address the real and immediate needs of their local market rather than pursuing technology-driven models that may be better suited to more developed economic contexts.
The SAGE Phase II project’s focus on accelerated entrepreneurship growth in Central Asia addresses a region where the infrastructure for structured business development and early-stage investment support has historically been limited relative to the entrepreneurial potential that exists within its population. By combining the Government of Switzerland’s development finance capacity with the Aga Khan Foundation’s deep regional presence and community trust, and channelling both through Accelerate Prosperity’s accelerator methodology, the programme creates a support ecosystem for Kyrgyz entrepreneurs that would be difficult to replicate through any single institution or funding source acting alone. For the three companies advancing to investment consideration, the Demo Day outcome represents a genuine inflection point in their development, opening access to capital and strategic support that can meaningfully accelerate the growth of businesses that have already demonstrated their potential through the rigour of the accelerator process.
