DHA Suffa University CEID Startup Awareness Session Focuses on Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Published on

The Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation Development (CEID) at DHA Suffa University hosted a Startup Awareness Session aimed at introducing students and aspiring entrepreneurs to foundational concepts of entrepreneurship and innovation. The session focused on building awareness around how ideas evolve into structured ventures and how industry perspectives can shape early-stage thinking among future founders.

The session featured Kapeel Kumar, Regional Head Underwriting – South Region, as the guest speaker, who shared insights from his professional experience in evaluating business risk and supporting structured decision-making processes. His discussion provided participants with an understanding of how financial discipline, assessment frameworks, and operational considerations influence business sustainability in real-world environments.

Held on 21 April 2026 at Aghaz, DHA Suffa University, the session brought together students interested in entrepreneurship, business development, and innovation. The interactive nature of the session allowed participants to engage directly with industry experience, gaining exposure to practical considerations that are often critical in early-stage venture development.

The initiative reflects growing collaboration between academic institutions and industry professionals in Pakistan’s startup ecosystem, aimed at strengthening awareness and encouraging entrepreneurial engagement among students. Through such sessions, CEID continues to contribute to ecosystem development by bridging academic learning with real-world business understanding.
