Dost Raises £6M Series A To Launch AI Financial Automation In UK Market

AI-driven finance startup Dost has announced the successful completion of its £6 million Series A funding round, led by Octopus Ventures, with participation from new investor TQ Venture Capital and continued backing from Draper B1, Born Capital, and Eoniq.fund. This funding milestone coincides with Dost’s official entry into the UK market, following three years of refining its AI technology across over 4 million real-world financial transactions and collaborations with more than 150 European enterprises.

Dost’s platform is designed to address persistent challenges faced by mid-market finance teams, including manual invoice processing, data entry errors, and approval bottlenecks. By automating complex procure-to-pay and order-to-cash processes, Dost has enabled clients to reduce administrative costs by 80%, achieve more than 95% accuracy, and increase finance team productivity by 2.5 times. The AI is capable of handling multi-page invoices and intricate supply chains, making it a versatile tool for enterprises seeking to streamline financial operations.

The UK launch will see Dost deploy a dedicated local team in London, offering tailored support for companies looking to adopt intelligent finance solutions. The Series A funding will accelerate product development, customer acquisition, and scaling efforts in the region. The investment also reflects growing confidence in AI-driven automation solutions and their potential to transform traditional finance workflows.

Commenting on the funding, Dost expressed gratitude to Octopus Ventures for their trust and partnership, noting that their belief in the company’s mission underscores the tangible benefits AI can bring to finance teams transitioning from manual operations to intelligent, automated systems. The company also acknowledged its existing team and partners for their continuous efforts in developing and deploying solutions that make financial operations more efficient and error-free.

With this funding and market expansion, Dost is positioned to further establish itself as a key player in the AI-finance sector. The company’s proprietary technology aims to redefine efficiency and accuracy for mid-market enterprises, supporting smoother financial workflows and freeing teams to focus on strategic decision-making rather than repetitive administrative tasks. The UK launch represents a strategic step in Dost’s broader vision to scale its AI solutions across international markets, enabling businesses to benefit from intelligent financial automation at a larger scale.

This new chapter for Dost highlights the convergence of AI innovation and practical finance solutions, demonstrating the growing role of technology in transforming the financial operations landscape and empowering companies to achieve greater efficiency and operational excellence.
