In October 2023, the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Islamabad Chapter signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IMSciences Peshawar, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating the growth of student entrepreneurs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This collaboration seeks to empower aspiring business leaders through mentoring, coaching, and incubation, helping them realize their full potential.

During the MoU signing ceremony, senior leaders from both organizations discussed the untapped entrepreneurial talent in the region and the various opportunities to elevate these students into successful entrepreneurs. As one of the largest global peer-to-peer entrepreneurial networks, EO will provide IMSciences students with access to renowned mentors, speakers, and coaches from around the world.

Collaboration on Global Student Entrepreneurship Awards (GSEA)

A key area of collaboration between EO Islamabad and IMSciences will be the annual Global Student Entrepreneurship Awards (GSEA), one of the largest competitions for student entrepreneurs globally. Organized and sponsored by EO, GSEA offers a platform for young innovators to showcase their ideas, gain recognition, and benefit from mentorship opportunities.

The EO Islamabad Chapter, recognized as one of the fastest-growing chapters within the global EO network, is focused on expanding its strategic partnerships as part of its theme of “Inclusive Entrepreneurship.” This partnership with IMSciences aligns with that mission, bringing more resources and opportunities to budding entrepreneurs in the region.

IMSciences, a premier business school in Pakistan, is well-known for its undergraduate and graduate programs in business administration, computer science, and the social sciences. The collaboration with EO will offer its students enhanced exposure to global entrepreneurial practices and mentorship, significantly boosting their professional growth.

Opportunities for Students

Student entrepreneurs across Pakistan are encouraged to apply for the upcoming GSEA Pakistan 2023-24 by visiting GSEA Apply. The deadline for applications is October 31, 2023, offering a chance for students to gain global recognition and valuable networking opportunities.

This MoU between EO Islamabad and IMSciences signifies a major step forward in fostering entrepreneurship in Pakistan. It promises to create a nurturing environment where young innovators can access resources and mentorship needed to succeed in the competitive global market.
