Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited (FFL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SEED Ventures to collaborate on Enterprise Challenge Pakistan (ECP), a flagship youth entrepreneurship program developed by King’s Trust International. The agreement was formalized at a ceremony in Islamabad, reaffirming Fatima Fertilizer’s commitment to sustainable development and its role as the first company in Pakistan to adopt the UNDP SDG Impact Framework.
Enterprise Challenge Pakistan, launched in partnership with SEED Ventures and King’s Trust International, aims to nurture entrepreneurial skills, business acumen, and innovative thinking among students aged 14 to 18. The initiative gives special attention to underprivileged communities, public-sector schools, children with disabilities, and gender inclusion, ensuring that opportunities reach those who are often left behind. Under its 9th cycle for 2025–2026, the program will engage nearly 3,000 students from 100 to 120 schools across rural Pakistan, equipping them with practical tools to turn ideas into sustainable ventures.
The signing ceremony was attended by senior leadership from Fatima Fertilizer, SEED Ventures, and King’s Trust International, with British High Commissioner to Pakistan H.E. Jane Marriott CMG, OBE, gracing the occasion as Chief Guest. Rabel Sadozai, Director of Marketing & Sales at Fatima Fertilizer, and Shaista Ayesha, Chief Executive Officer of SEED Ventures, joined other stakeholders to celebrate the partnership’s potential to transform Pakistan’s youth landscape.
The collaboration contributes directly to Pakistan’s progress on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By creating inclusive learning opportunities and fostering entrepreneurial mindsets, the program supports SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). Additionally, by encouraging creativity and innovation, the initiative aligns with SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), helping to build a stronger entrepreneurial ecosystem at the grassroots level.
