IU-CORE at Iqra University is hosting a session titled Business Strategy and BMC Model Development as part of its Cohort 4 programming, scheduled for the twentieth of August, twenty twenty six, running from three in the afternoon until five, at the university’s main campus. The session will be led by Sheikh Hammad Amjad, a Certified Business Coach and Mentor, and is designed to help Cohort 4 participants turn early stage business ideas into more structured, actionable strategies.
The session’s focus on the Business Model Canvas gives participants a practical framework for mapping out the core components of a business, including value propositions, customer segments, revenue streams, and key resources, in a single structured format commonly used by entrepreneurs and startups during the early planning stages of building a venture. Combining this framework with broader business strategy content gives attendees both a conceptual and practical toolkit for thinking through how their ideas could function as viable businesses.
Amjad’s role as a Certified Business Coach and Mentor positions him to guide Cohort 4 participants through both the theoretical underpinnings of business strategy and the practical application of tools such as the Business Model Canvas, an approach that typically benefits aspiring entrepreneurs who have an idea but have not yet worked through the structured planning needed to move it forward. Organisers have described the session as aimed at strengthening participants’ entrepreneurial mindset alongside sharpening their business strategy skills more specifically.
IU-CORE, operating as Iqra University’s Centre of Research and Entrepreneurship, has continued to organise sessions aimed at building foundational business and strategic thinking skills among students and aspiring entrepreneurs on campus, with this session forming part of the centre’s fourth cohort of structured programming. This session adds to a broader pattern of university based entrepreneurship centres across Pakistan offering structured, practical training aimed at helping students move from conceptual ideas toward more formalised business planning.
The session is open to Cohort 4 participants interested in strengthening their understanding of business strategy and model development, with the format expected to combine instructional content with practical exercises tied to the Business Model Canvas framework. IU-CORE’s continued programming reflects Iqra University’s ongoing investment in building entrepreneurial capacity among its student body, offering structured access to business coaching and mentorship that supports the broader development of an entrepreneurial mindset among participants.
