National Incubation Center for Aerospace Technologies Holds Two Day Cohort 8 Final Pitch Sessions Even

Published on

NICAT held two days of final pitch sessions for its Cohort 8 startups, bringing founders working across aerospace, defence, and deep tech to the stage to present their ventures in front of a panel of judges. The two day format gave each startup dedicated time to showcase their innovations, with organisers describing the sessions as marked by high energy and groundbreaking ideas throughout both days.

Day one of the pitch sessions kicked off with founders presenting across categories including deep tech, fintech, cybersecurity, and robotics, alongside aerospace focused ventures more directly tied to NICAT’s core focus areas. Each startup demonstrated a combination of grit, vision, and market readiness during their presentations, giving judges a comprehensive look at the technical and commercial maturity of the ventures moving through Cohort 8.

Day two continued with a similar format, featuring startups across aerospace, defence, and deep tech once again taking the stage, with organisers noting the ambitious nature of the ideas presented alongside the bold approach many founders took in articulating their vision. The continued emphasis on technical capability and market readiness across both days reflects NICAT’s broader focus on supporting startups working in specialised and often capital intensive technology categories.

Throughout both days, distinguished judges engaged thoughtfully with each startup, offering valuable insights and feedback that extended beyond a simple evaluation exercise into a more substantive dialogue between founders and experienced evaluators. This level of engagement reflects NICAT’s continued effort to make its final pitch sessions a genuinely developmental experience for founders, rather than a purely competitive format focused solely on selection outcomes.

The two day event was supported by Ignite National Technology Fund, Ministry Of IT and Telecommunication, NETSOL Technologies, National Aerospace Science and Technology Park, Air University, and Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra, reflecting the institutional network tied to NICAT’s operations. With Cohort 8’s final pitches now complete, the startups involved are expected to move toward the next phase of their development, having received direct feedback from judges spanning aerospace, defence, and deep tech expertise during the two day evaluation process.
