Accelerate Prosperity, an initiative of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), has announced that applications are now open for the 2025 edition of its flagship National Tech Cohort acceleration program. The initiative is designed to help Pakistani technology-focused startups scale rapidly by providing structured training, advisory support, and access to subsidized financing.

The National Tech Cohort 2025 is open to startups developing technology-based products or services from any sector, with priority given to solutions in areas such as water and waste management, financial technology, disaster resilience, and sustainable manufacturing. The program specifically targets ventures that are either revenue-generating or ready to launch, ensuring that participating teams are equipped to benefit from acceleration.

The program includes in-person acceleration training in Karachi, scheduled for October 27–29, 2025. Startups will receive practical guidance through sector-specific workshops, designed to sharpen their strategies and strengthen business fundamentals. In addition, one-on-one advisory sessions with experienced business and industry experts will provide customized feedback to help founders address operational challenges, optimize growth strategies, and prepare for investment.

One of the key highlights of National Tech Cohort 2025 is the opportunity for startups to raise up to $200,000 in subsidized business financing. This component is aimed at addressing one of the most significant hurdles faced by entrepreneurs in Pakistan: access to affordable capital. By offering financial support alongside mentorship, the program enables founders to focus on scaling their businesses sustainably.

In a bid to encourage inclusivity and reduce barriers to participation, Accelerate Prosperity has committed to covering travel and lodging expenses for selected startups attending the in-person sessions in Karachi. This provision ensures that entrepreneurs from across Pakistan, regardless of location, can benefit from the program’s resources.

The acceleration program also features advanced training modules, including sessions on leveraging artificial intelligence and research and development tools, to ensure startups remain competitive in fast-changing markets. Participants will additionally receive investor and market readiness support, enabling them to pitch effectively to potential partners and expand their reach into new markets.

By working closely with national partners such as the National Incubation Centers (NICs) in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Hyderabad, Quetta, Islamabad, Faisalabad, and specialized programs like NASTP and GIK Catalyst, Accelerate Prosperity aims to extend the impact of National Tech Cohort 2025 to founders across Pakistan. This collaborative framework emphasizes the importance of ecosystem-wide engagement in nurturing high-potential startups.

Accelerate Prosperity has positioned the program as more than an accelerator; it is an initiative that bridges the gap between promising technology solutions and the capital, mentorship, and networks required for scale. By supporting ventures across diverse industries, the program is contributing to Pakistan’s broader digital transformation and entrepreneurial growth.

Applications for National Tech Cohort 2025 will remain open until October 13, 2025. Selected startups will be notified ahead of the Karachi training sessions, with the full program designed to accelerate their journey toward market success.
