Griftx, a startup within the NIC Hyderabad ecosystem founded by Aisha Zakir, has been selected among 85 startups from 225 applicants at the TiE Los Angeles chapter, as part of a global pool of 4,980 applicants across 45 TiE chapters worldwide. The selection places Griftx among a relatively small group of startups chosen from a substantial international applicant base, giving the company access to one of the more established global entrepreneurship networks operating across multiple regions.
TiE, or The Indus Entrepreneurs, operates as a global network with chapters spanning numerous countries, and selection through its Los Angeles chapter specifically connects Griftx to one of the network’s more prominent hubs, situated within a major US innovation and investment ecosystem. Being selected from a pool of nearly 5,000 applicants across the network’s 45 chapters worldwide underscores the competitive nature of the selection process Griftx successfully navigated.
The milestone adds to NIC Hyderabad’s record of supporting startups that go on to achieve recognition through international networks and programmes, reflecting the incubation centre’s role in helping regional startups build the credibility and readiness needed to compete for opportunities on a global scale.
