NIC Islamabad Hosts Founder Institute Growth Session For Founders

Published on

National Incubation Center Islamabad’s next Founder Institute session for Cohort 6 turns to a question that separates early traction from lasting success, what it actually takes to move from startup growth to sustainable scale. Rather than treating growth and scale as interchangeable terms, the session’s framing draws a deliberate distinction between them, positioning growth as something many early-stage startups achieve briefly and scale as the far harder, more structural challenge of sustaining that growth without the wheels coming off.

On 15 September, founders will explore how to identify genuine growth opportunities rather than chasing every available option indiscriminately, strengthen their business strategy to support sustained expansion, move into new markets deliberately, and navigate the operational and organizational challenges that inevitably accompany scaling. Treating these as separate, sequential skills reflects an understanding that spotting an opportunity is a fundamentally different capability from building the internal systems needed to actually capitalize on it once identified.

The session brings together Ayhan Isaacs, head of marketing at Founder Institute, and Mufeez Rana, founder of Stealth Startup Community, pairing an institutional perspective on growth strategy with a founder’s own lived experience building a company from the ground up. That combination gives Cohort 6 founders access to both the structured frameworks Founder Institute has developed across its global network of programs and the more improvisational, hard-won lessons a practicing founder tends to bring to a conversation about scaling under real constraints.

Organizers describe the session as offering practical insights, real-world perspectives, and growth strategies that founders can apply directly to their own ventures, a framing consistent with Founder Institute’s broader approach across NIC Islamabad’s curriculum of pairing conceptual frameworks with speakers who have direct operating experience. The session runs from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on 15 September, and is supported by Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, Tech Destination Pakistan, and Ignite National Technology Fund, continuing NIC Islamabad’s structured Founder Institute curriculum for Cohort 6 founders working through the distinct stages of building an investable, scalable business.
