NIC Islamabad hosted an exclusive session titled Mission Marketing, From Launchpad to Scale, bringing the team from Spaceman Studios to work directly with the centre’s founders on building marketing that actually drives measurable growth. The session addressed a gap many early stage founders face after building a product, understanding that generating genuine demand requires more than simply making people aware a product exists.
The session covered marketing fundamentals, brand positioning and business goals under a segment framed as the bigger picture, giving founders a foundation in how marketing decisions connect to broader business objectives before moving into more tactical territory. This portion focused on building what organisers described as a connected marketing ecosystem, treating marketing as an integrated system rather than a series of disconnected campaigns or channels.
A second segment moved from strategy to execution, covering audience and competitor research, content strategy, marketing planning and designing the customer journey. This progression reflects a structured approach to marketing development, starting with understanding who a startup is trying to reach and what its competitors are doing before building out the specific content and planning needed to execute against that understanding.
The session’s final segment addressed performance marketing directly, comparing Google and Meta advertising platforms, distinguishing between demand generation and demand creation, and covering analytics, audience setup, lead tracking and optimisation. This practical, platform specific guidance gives founders concrete direction on where and how to allocate marketing spend once they have their broader strategy and content plans in place.
Leading the session were Fahad Qureshi, Founder and CEO of Spaceman Studios, Shantal Silas, Head of Marketing at Spaceman Studios, and Ayesha Abbasi, Ads Specialist at Spaceman Studios, giving the session a combination of leadership, strategic and hands on tactical perspectives from within a single marketing agency. The session was held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at NIC Islamabad, and was positioned as exclusive to NIC Islamabad founders, supported by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, Tech Destination Pakistan and Ignite National Technology Fund, alongside collaborators including Fauji Foundation, Founder Institute and Cybervision International.
