NIC Karachi Hosts Session on Startup World Cup Pathway with Startup Grind Lahore

Published on

National Incubation Center Karachi is set to host an interactive session focused on the Startup World Cup, an international startup competition organized by Pegasus Tech Ventures in San Francisco. The session will be led by Iftikhar Hussain, Director Startup Grind Lahore, and is designed to help early-stage founders understand how to prepare for global pitching opportunities and compete on an international stage. The initiative reflects growing efforts within Pakistan’s startup ecosystem to connect local entrepreneurs with global innovation platforms.

The session will focus on practical guidance for startups aiming to refine their pitch decks, strengthen their business narratives, and align their ventures with investor expectations. Founders will be introduced to the structure and expectations of the Startup World Cup, which brings together startups from around the world to compete for funding and international visibility. The discussion is expected to provide insight into how startups can position themselves more effectively in competitive global environments.

Participants will also gain exposure to strategies for improving fundraising readiness, storytelling, and product-market alignment, all of which are key elements in attracting international investment. The session aims to bridge the gap between local startup development and global investor ecosystems by providing founders with a clearer understanding of what it takes to succeed beyond domestic markets.

The event is scheduled for 23 April 2026 at National Incubation Center Karachi, bringing together ecosystem stakeholders, founders, and aspiring entrepreneurs. It reflects continued traction in Pakistan’s startup landscape, where increasing emphasis is being placed on global exposure, competitive readiness, and structured pathways to international startup platforms.
