NSTP and DTV Host Info Session for Deep Tech Ventures Program Cohort 2 Applications

Published on

NSTP and Dhahran Techno Valley are opening applications for the second cohort of the Deep-Tech Ventures Program, known as .dvp, and are hosting a live online session on Thursday, the twenty seventh of August, twenty twenty six, at three in the afternoon Pakistan time, to walk founders through exactly what the programme offers and who it is designed for. The session will be held online via Microsoft Teams, allowing participation from deep tech founders across Pakistan regardless of location.

The session will open with remarks on the NSTP-DTV collaboration and the broader Pakistan-Saudi Arabia partnership underpinning the programme, giving attendees context on how this cross border collaboration between National Science and Technology Park and Dhahran Techno Valley came together. This partnership brings together Pakistan’s aerospace and technology park infrastructure with Dhahran Techno Valley’s position within Saudi Arabia’s broader technology and innovation ecosystem, creating a joint pathway for deep tech ventures to access support from both countries.

The programme is specifically targeted at ventures operating at Technology Readiness Level 3 to 4, a threshold that indicates a certain stage of technical maturity beyond pure concept but before full commercial deployment. This eligibility requirement means the session is aimed at founders with concrete, technically validated deep tech ventures rather than early stage ideas still in conceptual development, distinguishing .dvp from more general purpose incubation or accelerator programmes.

The session will cover the programme’s structure in detail, including funding, access to labs, mentorship, and pilot opportunities available to accepted participants, alongside specific guidance on what separates a strong application from one that gets rejected. This practical focus on application quality gives founders concrete guidance ahead of submitting their own applications, rather than leaving them to interpret eligibility criteria without direct input from the programme’s organisers.

The session will be hosted by Huda Alshehri, Senior Venture Building Specialist at DTV, and Yaruq Nadeem, Senior Manager for Innovation and Programs at NSTP, giving attendees direct access to representatives from both organising institutions. The session will conclude with a live question and answer segment involving both teams, allowing founders to ask specific questions about their own ventures’ eligibility or application approach. Those interested in attending can register through the link shared as part of the announcement at https://lnkd.in/df5-SvFv.
