The Department of Management Sciences at NUML University Islamabad has announced the launch of its flagship Business Plan Competition 2025, organized by the university’s Entrepreneurship Society. The event is set to take place at Confucius Hall on November 19 and 20, 2025, and aims to provide aspiring entrepreneurs a platform to showcase their innovative ideas, gain exposure, and compete for exciting prizes.

The NUML Business Plan Competition has established itself as a dynamic event that bridges academia and industry, allowing participants to transform creative ideas into viable business models. Open to undergraduate, graduate, and alumni participants across universities, the competition encourages students to think strategically, innovate boldly, and present ideas that can drive real-world impact.

Participants can register as teams of one to four members by November 5, 2025, with a registration fee of PKR 2000 per team. Each team will develop and pitch a comprehensive business plan before a panel of judges comprising academics, investors, and industry professionals.

The event goes beyond competition — it serves as a hub for learning and networking. Attendees will have the chance to receive feedback from experienced entrepreneurs, connect with mentors, and engage with potential investors who may express interest in supporting promising ventures. By combining exposure, mentorship, and investment opportunities, NUML aims to inspire students to pursue entrepreneurship as a viable career path.

Speaking about the competition, representatives from the Department of Management Sciences highlighted that the initiative reflects NUML’s continued commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurial thinking among Pakistan’s youth. Events like this help students develop essential skills in business planning, financial forecasting, market analysis, and presentation, all critical for success in today’s competitive startup ecosystem.

The Business Plan Competition 2025 aligns with Pakistan’s growing focus on entrepreneurship and innovation-led economic growth. By providing a structured platform for young entrepreneurs to test their ideas, NUML University contributes to building a more resilient, opportunity-driven economy.
