OPEN Global Announces Women Entrepreneurs Well-Being Conference for November

Published on

OPEN Global has announced its Annual Women’s Conference for this year, scheduled to take place on the nineteenth of November from ten in the morning until noon, held virtually to allow participation from the organisation’s global community. The conference, titled Women Entrepreneurs’ Well-Being and Resilience, shifts this year’s focus away from the more conventional theme of building stronger businesses toward a conversation centred on sustaining the women who build them.

Organisers framed the conference around the idea that women continue to sustain businesses, families, and communities, raising the question of who in turn sustains women themselves as they carry these responsibilities. The conference’s central premise argues that building sustainable businesses requires attention to the sustainability of the women behind them, encompassing mental wellness, physical health, emotional resilience, and the broader support systems needed to help women entrepreneurs keep going over the long term.

This shift in focus reflects a growing conversation within entrepreneurship circles more broadly, where discussions of business building have increasingly begun to acknowledge the personal toll that sustained entrepreneurial effort can take, particularly for women who often balance business responsibilities alongside family and community obligations. By dedicating this year’s Annual Women’s Conference specifically to well-being and resilience, OPEN Global is positioning the event as a departure from more typical business strategy or funding focused programming.

The conference has been opened to both women and men from all communities, reflecting an intent to broaden the conversation beyond women entrepreneurs alone, potentially engaging partners, family members, and colleagues who play a role in supporting women’s entrepreneurial journeys. This inclusive framing suggests organisers see well-being and resilience as a shared responsibility extending beyond the individual entrepreneur to the broader network of people around them.

Those interested in attending can register through the link shared as part of the announcement at https://lnkd.in/dCVs4gVW, with the virtual format allowing OPEN Global’s international community, spanning entrepreneurial hubs across the United States, United Kingdom, Pakistan, and beyond, to participate regardless of location. The conference adds to OPEN Global’s continued programming aimed at supporting entrepreneurs through both practical business guidance and, as reflected in this year’s theme, a growing acknowledgement of the personal wellbeing factors that underpin long term entrepreneurial success.
