The 12th WEXNET 2025, Pakistan’s largest women entrepreneurs’ exhibition, commenced today at the Expo Center Lahore, drawing attention to the immense contributions of women professionals and entrepreneurs to the nation’s economy. Organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), this highly anticipated three-day event aims to showcase the skills and capabilities of Pakistani women and further integrate them into the economic mainstream.

The exhibition welcomes attendees from 10 AM to 10 PM daily, with free entry for families, ensuring broad community engagement. Federal Secretary of Commerce, Jawad Paul Khwaja, inaugurated the event, emphasizing the government’s commitment to providing financial and structural support to women entrepreneurs. In his opening remarks, he lauded TDAP’s efforts in organizing the exhibition, stating,

“WEXNET 2025 is a significant platform for empowering women entrepreneurs, enabling them to make meaningful contributions to Pakistan’s economy.”

The inaugural ceremony was enriched by a vibrant cultural performance, reflecting the spirit of inclusivity and celebration. The first day also featured a session by the National Export Training Program (NETP), offering valuable insights and skills development opportunities for budding entrepreneurs.

WEXNET 2025 is more than just a showcase—it’s a vibrant marketplace and a hub for professional and social interaction. The exhibition features over 200 participants from across Pakistan, highlighting a wide range of products and services, including textiles, apparel, jewelry, handicrafts, cookware, herbal skincare, e-commerce solutions, and export-ready goods. Attendees also enjoyed a lively atmosphere with activities such as cooking competitions, lucky draws, and interactive product samplings. A well-curated food court, offering diverse cuisines, added to the enriching experience for visitors of all ages.

Prominent participants include members of Women Chambers of Commerce and Industry from Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, and Karachi, alongside representatives from FPCCI. Vocational training institutions like Sanatzar and the Bait-ul-Maal department have also joined the event, providing visitors with a glimpse into heritage crafts and modern, sustainable designs. These contributions underscore the creativity and innovation of Pakistan’s women entrepreneurs.

This year’s theme, “Empowering Women, Strengthening Economies: Building a Brighter Future Together,” resonates deeply with the event’s focus on fostering economic growth and social impact through women-led initiatives. The exhibition goes beyond traditional displays, highlighting the achievements of trailblazers in diverse fields, including architecture, sports, and aviation. Among the notable honorees are women cricketers and Air Force officers, symbolizing the breadth of contributions Pakistani women are making on the global stage.

WEXNET 2025 celebrates the resilience, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit of women who are reshaping industries and inspiring future generations. The event not only acknowledges their achievements but also serves as a call to action for continued support of women-led ventures in Pakistan and beyond.

TDAP has played a pivotal role in empowering women entrepreneurs through WEXNET, offering national and international recognition to their endeavors.
