WISE Lab will host a Founder Mindset session for its Cohort 1 founders on November 3, 2026, at the National Incubation Center Islamabad. The session is designed to give founders the tools to overcome self-doubt, challenge limiting beliefs, build resilience and lead with confidence. Organizers have framed the program around a simple idea that growth begins with the founder, and that strong businesses start with stronger mindsets.
The program features two speakers across the morning and early afternoon. Murtaza Zaidi, Founder of CyberVision and Managing Partner at the National Incubation Centers in Islamabad, Sialkot and Faisalabad, speaks from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Shehab Farrukh, Founder of Trailblazer and Co-founder of Chaap Global, follows from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The longer second slot suggests a more extended, interactive discussion, giving participants time to work through the ideas covered rather than only listening. Both speakers bring experience of building and supporting ventures, which gives the founders perspectives from the worlds of incubation and company building.
The focus on mindset reflects a practical truth about early stage companies: the person running the business is often the biggest factor in whether it survives. Self-doubt, fear of failure and unexamined beliefs about what a founder should be can slow decisions and limit ambition, and these pressures can weigh heavily on first time entrepreneurs. By dedicating a session to these issues, WISE Lab is treating the founder’s own development as part of the business plan, alongside product, customers and funding. Learning to recognize limiting beliefs and respond to setbacks with resilience can help founders stay steady through the uncertain early stages.
The session is backed by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication and Ignite, the National Technology Fund, with JazzWorld, Mobilink Bank and Change Mechanics supporting the program. It takes place at the National Incubation Center Islamabad, bringing the first cohort of the incubation program together in one place for a day of learning. For the Cohort 1 founders, the session offers an early opportunity to work on how they think and lead as they begin building their ventures.
