Women Cup 2025 Final Event Showcases Tajikistan’s Emerging Women Entrepreneurs

Published on

Accelerate Prosperity, in collaboration with the Committee on Women and Family Affairs under the Government of Tajikistan, recently hosted a landmark event celebrating women’s entrepreneurship in the country. The gathering marked the final stage of Women Cup 2025, a four-week incubation program aimed at equipping women entrepreneurs with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to scale their business ideas and strengthen their leadership capabilities. The event, held to coincide with International Women’s Entrepreneurship Day, provided a dedicated platform for showcasing the progress and achievements of participants, highlighting the growing role of women-led ventures in Tajikistan’s economic landscape.

More than 150 guests attended the Women Cup 2025 finale, including senior representatives from government institutions, international organizations, and industry experts. The event featured presentations by the program’s participants, who demonstrated the tangible progress they made during the incubation period. Entrepreneurs shared their projects, business strategies, and innovative solutions developed over the course of the program, reflecting the impact of intensive mentorship, practical workshops, and guidance on market readiness. These presentations also illustrated the participants’ capacity to address real-world challenges, enhance operational efficiency, and create scalable business models, positioning them as valuable contributors to Tajikistan’s economic growth.

The event emphasized networking, learning, and collaboration, enabling participants to engage with public and private sector representatives and explore potential partnerships. Panel discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions offered insights into strategies for further supporting women entrepreneurs, addressing systemic challenges, and expanding opportunities for women-led businesses. By bringing together stakeholders from across sectors, Women Cup 2025 created a dynamic environment for dialogue, mentorship, and the development of actionable solutions that can strengthen the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Accelerate Prosperity extended its appreciation to the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and its partners for their continued support in implementing the program. The event was made possible through financial support from the Government of the United Kingdom and the Government of Switzerland, reflecting the importance of international collaboration in promoting inclusive economic growth and entrepreneurship. Such initiatives provide women with practical tools, mentorship, and visibility needed to translate innovative ideas into sustainable ventures, fostering long-term impact in local communities.

Women Cup 2025 not only celebrated individual achievements but also underscored the potential of women entrepreneurs to drive economic development in Tajikistan. By combining incubation, mentorship, and strategic guidance with a platform for public recognition, the program reinforced the value of supporting women-led startups and creating a more inclusive business environment. Participants left the event with enhanced skills, strengthened networks, and clearer pathways to scale their ventures, highlighting the role of programs like Women Cup in empowering women and shaping a resilient, innovation-driven entrepreneurial ecosystem in Tajikistan.
