NIC Hyderabad Hosts Startup Building Session for SZABIST Hyderabad BBA Students

Published on

National Incubation Center Hyderabad recently held an interactive entrepreneurship session at SZABIST University Hyderabad Campus, engaging Bachelor of Business Administration students in practical discussions around startup building in Pakistan. Titled “Zero to Startup: How Students Can Launch in Pakistan Today,” the session focused on giving students a realistic understanding of what it takes to build a startup from the ground up in today’s local business environment.

The session moved beyond theoretical entrepreneurship frameworks and focused on the early realities of startup formation, including identifying practical problems, validating ideas, and taking the first steps toward building a business. The discussion aimed to make entrepreneurship more accessible to students by breaking down the startup journey into practical stages and highlighting that early progress often begins without complete certainty or resources.

Adding practical insight to the engagement, founders from startups within NIC Hyderabad’s portfolio, including Sportec, GriftX Private Limited, and FlipMeet, joined the discussion to share their own startup journeys. They spoke about how their ideas evolved, the operational and strategic challenges they faced in the early stages, and the persistence required to continue building despite uncertainty and changing market conditions.

The initiative reflects NIC Hyderabad’s broader focus on strengthening entrepreneurial awareness and founder development by connecting academic communities with real startup experiences. By creating opportunities for students to interact directly with founders, the incubation centre continues to contribute to ecosystem development and encourage entrepreneurship as a practical career pathway for emerging talent in Pakistan.
