Accelerate Punjab Opens Applications for Rawalpindi Incubation Center with Zero Equity Model

Published on

Accelerate Punjab has opened applications for the Rawalpindi Incubation Center, inviting startups that are already in motion and looking for a structured environment to take their ventures forward. The program is a Government of Punjab initiative designed to support startups through a defined journey from early-stage building through to growth and scale, with the application deadline set for May 15.

What sets this cohort apart from many incubation programs in Pakistan is its zero equity model — meaning selected startups receive the full suite of support without giving up any ownership in their business in exchange. That support includes free office space, free legal consultation, a monthly stipend, business development support, mentorship, and access to networking and funding opportunities. The combination addresses both the operational and strategic needs of early-stage founders simultaneously, rather than limiting support to a single dimension such as workspace or mentorship alone.

The Rawalpindi Incubation Center’s placement within Accelerate Punjab’s broader framework means selected startups are entering a government-backed ecosystem with institutional continuity behind it — not a standalone program but one connected to a wider infrastructure of support that extends as ventures grow. The program is explicitly targeted at founders who are already working on something rather than those at the ideation stage, signalling a preference for teams with demonstrated momentum that need the right environment to accelerate rather than those still searching for a problem to solve.

Startups interested in applying can submit their applications through the official form at forms.gle/pPCw7DSYTZQh2QMG6 before the May 15 deadline.
